What is your overriding motivation for being a lensmaster? |
Squidoo Lensmasters are passionate. They inspire others while at the same time making money for themselves and charity. Below, see some responses to some of the work I've produced at Squidoo.com and consider being a lensmaster yourself:

It's hard to write about my overriding motivation, because I have several motivations. I want to make a living. I want to share my insights. I want to host conversations. Those motivations are all part of my online work in general - the hosting online conversations is pretty unique to squidoo. Hosting conversations is easier on squidoo than anywhere else, because of the combination of all the interactive modules (plexos, duel, guestbook, poll, quiz etc.).
I absolutely love my various spiritual debates :) http://www.squidoo.com/religion-debates
I have several motivations for being a lensmaster - - building my businesses, building relationships with my readers, having fun, being part of an awesome community, giving back to that community, learning and creating. But the overriding motivation is expressing what matters to me. I've built lenses for many different reasons in my Squidoo journey so far, but I'm getting more and more into the area I love most, which is personal growth and spirituality. Squidoo provides a fantastic medium for writing, sharing and interacting about the things that are important to me . . . things I hope to educate others about . . . things that may impact others, make them think, or help to make our world a better place.
Um, I want to change the world? Actually, I started with Squidoo because I wanted to influence the world of choir directing. And my biggest thrill is when I see that people are finding something of value from my lenses. When they check out songs and videos, and when they ask me questions, it really feels good.
